Everyday Essentials - What you should always have on hand!

In this post we will share with you our essential toolkit that every driver should consider.

Being prepared for even the most basic situation will potentially save you a lot of time and money. 💰

When you plan your day and your travel times, you might add an extra 10-15 minutes for traffic but do you ever expect to get in your car and it not start or have a warning light come up on the dash?

Here is my list of non-negotiables that I always have in the boot of my car:

  1. Bulbs (a mixed set)💡

  2. Fuses

  3. Jump leads (suitable for my engine size)

  4. Spare wheel & tools or puncture repair kit

  5. First aid kit ⛑️

  6. Hi-vis

Additional extras that have come in handy:

  1. Scissors ✂️

  2. Tape of some kind

  3. Tow rope

  4. Big bottle of water (because you never know when you will run out of screenwash or have a coolant issue and need a bit of fluid to get you home) 💦

Countless times I have been able to easily get myself back on the road or help a friend in need and none of these items are expensive of hard to store in your car.

Don't get caught out, sort yourself your essentials kit before you wished you had! 😄
